"Ascend, Thy River" is the first instrumental album to be released by the solo musical project Winds of Mayhem.
Recorded in the beginning of 2018, "Ascend, Thy River" was ment to be a full length album featuring growling vocals, but I just didn't feel vocals will fit as they should into this release, as everything here is more personal, rather than generic metal.
All been said, "Ascend, Thy River" is an experience, it should be listened from the beginning until the end to uncover its true meaning and value.
